Meet your hosts

Hornelen Panorama is run by Gunnhild and Steffen, who returned to Steffen’s birthplace after decades of living abroad and in the city. With deep roots at Lofnes going back centuries, and a shared love for adventure, nature, and thoughtful design, they now welcome guests from all over the world.


Living on the property, they are always nearby — ready to help, share local knowledge, or point you toward unforgettable off-the-beaten-track experiences.

Hornelen Panorama is a year-round destination with easy access by car or coastal speed boat from Bergen. Free parking and electric vehicle charging are available on site. Bed linens, towels, final cleaning, and high speed Wi-Fi are always included, and both accommodations offer a personal welcome and local guidance. Designed for comfort, privacy, and safety, your stay is as seamless as it is memorable.
